Older Adults

programs_olderadultprogramThe older adult community is supported through an array of services focused on targeting abuse, improving health and maintaining social connectedness. Support includes specialized care management, assistance with navigating the health and public benefits systems, as well as essential mental health support, and community linkages.

Healthy Aging

programs_chakraHealthy aging is nurtured by offering an environment for enrichment and social support. Workshops foster mental and physical health by addressing topics relevant to optimal aging. Educational activities are held at SAHARA’s main office, as well as nearby community centers for increased access.

Public Benefits

Reliable guidance, enrollment assistance, and follow-up advocacy in government and public programs is provided by specially trained professionals. Outreach efforts aimed at increasing participation in public benefits programs are scheduled throughout the community and allow for the dissemination of current information.
